Mia – Deputy Manager

Mia is a hard-working and committed member of the Oaklands team. Starting her career as a Carer in 2016, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the home and progressed consistently through various roles.

Mia’s Oaklands journey has seen her advance from Carer to Senior Carer, then to Senior Lead, Head of Care and currently, Deputy Manager. Mia has further shown her dedication by completing her care certificate, followed by Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Particularly passionate about end-of-life care, Mia became a carer to look after her late father. She remains determined to ensure that everyone she cares for has the best possible journey during this sensitive time.

Outside of her professional life, Mia is married with two lovely children, two wonderful dogs and is a proud Meemar to her gorgeous granddaughter.
