Meet our dedicated team who make our community special

The person-centred care we deliver to our residents is only possible thanks to the dedication of the wonderful team at our home. Meet some of the friendly faces you are likely to see when visiting Oaklands.

Anish – Operations Director

With his highly analytical mind and degree in Computer Engineering, Anish took on the role of Operations Director at Oaklands to ensure the best working environment and processes are in place.

Similar to his brother, Samir, Anish has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and shares his passion for embracing technology in the care sector.

Prior to becoming Operation Director, Anish was also the registered manager at Oaklands for 5 years.

Outside of work, Anish is a very sociable individual, who values his strong family connections and friendships. He is also a keen traveller and is extremely fortunate to have visited several countries and continents.

Nicola – Registered Manager

Nicola joined Oaklands in 2014 as our Registered Manager and has become a familiar face for many in the Marchwood community, thanks to her ongoing efforts to ensure a strong relationship between the home and the local residents.

Nicola has an extensive background in the care sector, having started out in the industry at just 17 years old. Before moving to the New Forest with her family, Nicola also achieved a BSc degree in Welfare Studies from Newport University while working as a Manager at a care home in Wales.

Outside of work, Nicola can often be found taking part in charity work and raising awareness for dementia causes, having lost her own father to the illness. Nicola is also hugely family-orientated and loves listening to music and taking her dog, Bella, on long walks.

Mandy – Lifestyle Coordinator

Mandy joined us last year and is in charge of of coordinating daily activities at Oaklands. From our weekly Exercise with Jo classes to dog therapy – our enriching activites are not only enjoyable for the residents, but also help boost their social, physical & cognitive wellbeing.

This is Mandy’s first time working as an Activities Coordinator, however, she’s already proving to be a natural at it! Mandy is really  loving learning on the job and getting to know the residents!

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys spending time doing arts & crafts and family life is also very important to her. Fun fact – Mandy has organised several themed celebrations for her children – including a Harry Potter and Pokemon party!

Paige – Administrator

Paige is a lovely, warm character, who you’ve probably found greeting you upon your arrival at Oaklands.

Paige has been with us for over three years and massively enjoys her job. Paige particularly loves the daily interaction with residents and visitors, as well as the wealth of knowledge she’s amassed in her role.  

Outside of Oaklands, Paige can be found looking after her two pet rabbits and enjoying her newest hobby…sea fishing!
